Interpreting
If audiences are unsure about what to expect in your presentation, or what’s coming up next, they may become confused or disengaged. Without a map it’s easy for them to get lost. Frequently explaining what will be talking about, or covering, limits uncertainty and relaxes your audience.
Unless the audience hears the point you are trying to make stated plainly and directly, they may struggle to make sense of your information and have difficulty in retaining key messages. Explaining to an audience what your data or slide means, assists you to have impact and the audience to gain clarity.
